Adding a Promo Code

Any ticket price can be protected by a promo code. This allows customers to unlock these options only after the code is submitted during checkout. When customers submit a valid promo code, the promo coded prices will appear as new purchase options.

To add a promo code to any ticket price, make sure you are logged in to your Prekindle account.

1. Click the event to open the event tools.
2. Click the Sales tab, then click Tickets.
3. In the box provided next to the ticket price you would like to add the promo code to, enter the desired promo code. Multiple codes may be entered by separating them with a comma. These promo codes must be entered by the customer to unlock this price. Click Save.
4. Click Publish to make the promo code pricing available to your customers.

Note: Once a ticket type is promo coded, it will only be visible to the customer after the promo code is submitted. Promo codes must be submitted prior to ticket selection to be reflected in the purchase price.

To create a discounted ticket price with a promo code:

1. Create a new ticket price within the ticket type by clicking Add Price.
2. Set the name and price of the discounted ticket. Click Edit next to the new price to update and make edits.
3. Add a custom promo code to the new price and click Save.
4. Publish the discounted price.
