Make sure you are viewing your account dashboard by clicking the Dashboard tab on the left side navigation panel. 


  1. Click the event to open up the tools
  2. Click the Sales tab, the Tickets
  3. Find the ticket price that you'd like to set automations for, then click Edit
  4. Enter the Sell Capacity that is the total number of tickets you'd like to sell at this price point.
  5. Check the Show Automation Options box to open the automation tools for the ticket type selected.
  6. Select which action you'd like to take place When Sell Capacity is Reached:
    1. Pause This Pricing- pauses the current price, takes no further action
    2. Publish Another Pricing- publishes a different price (select from the drop down)
    3. Pause Section/ Level- entire ticket type/section will pause when the sale capacity is reached
  7. Click Save to save all automation changes.





Helpful Hints:

  • Create all of your prices first, then go in and edit the automations for each price.  This way, all of your ticket prices are available when you are setting up the sell capacity automations 
  • Be sure you select both "Pause This Pricing" and "Publish Another Pricing" when you are wanting a price to pause when the sell capacity is reached and a new price to go on-sale.
  • Ensure all of your prices are paused so that the Publish automation knows to turn on the ticket sales when the previous sell capacity is reached.
  • Use this automation for setting up Dynamic Pricing- see image below


The Sell Capacity Automation is set up so that once 50 of the Tier 1 General Admission tickets have sold, the Tier 1 pricing will pause and the Tier 2 pricing will publish.  You can then go into the Tier 2 automations and set it so that when 25 of the Tier 2 tickets have sold, the Tier 2 price will pause, and the Tier 3 price point can sell until the remaining 25 tickets are sold out.
