There may be instances when you are creating an event that you need your event to be private.
Updating the event to private means:
- The event will no longer show up on Prekindle's event listings
- The event will not show up on your account's calendar page or widget
- The event will not be searchable online
- The event can only be accessed via link
You can also temporarily update the visibility of your event if you would like to publish and review your event without making it available to the public. Just remember to reset the event to public when you are ready to go on-sale.
1. Click into the event you'd like to make private/public
2. Click the Promote section, then Visibility
3. Click Change to update the visibility of the event
4. The status of the event will state when the event is private
