This means that the billing address provided didn't match the information that your financial institution has on file.  

When this happens, a temporary authorization can show up on your billing statement, but it will clear up shortly on its own (usually within 24 hours).  To make a purchase with that card, you need to find the exact billing address associated with the credit card.  This can usually be found  by logging into your credit card issuer's website or calling your issuing bank.
