What do I do if I received an AVS mismatch error during my purchase?

Modified on Tue, 22 Apr at 5:17 PM

An AVS mismatch means the billing address you entered doesn’t match what your bank or card issuer has on file. When that happens, your transaction won’t go through—but you might still see a temporary charge on your statement. Don’t worry, it’s just an authorization hold and should disappear within 24 hours.

What to Do:

  • Double-check your billing address. Log in to your bank or credit card account, or call your issuer to confirm the exact address they have on file.

  • Try the purchase again using the correct billing info.
