Event Manager Overview
Your Event Manager is the new central hub for managing all ticketing operations:

Place Holds: Select the Holds tab in the event manager and select or deselect the seats you would like to Hold or Release. This will remove them from being available for purchase online.

Set Kills & Availability: Select the Kills tab to control which seats are available for sale. To pause a section you will kill them in this tab.

NOTE: Kills are rate limited: Pausing a section now counts as a "kill." You can only update kills a limited number of times per day. If you need to pause multiple sections, please contact clients@prekindle.com.
Assign Price Levels: Link ticket types to map sections/prices

Guest List 101
You can create guest list tickets from any seat map section or general admission area.
If the section does not exist on the map (e.g., Venue Comps), select it from the dropdown and proceed — the system will show a warning, which can be safely ignored.
Select the quantity of tickets needed and click Create Tickets.
Guest list tickets pull from the event’s capacity automatically.
Tip: For held or killed seats, you can guest list directly from the dropdown without releasing them first.

Managing Capacity Fluctuations
- Lowering Capacity (Kills): Adjust GA areas by reducing available seats within the Kills tab.
- Increasing Capacity: Release seats or re-enable previously killed sections.

Creating & Assigning Price Levels
Price levels can be created and managed in the Price Level tab and assigned in the Event Manager

In the Event Manager, select the areas you want to assign to the price level you've created.

Then link the appropriate price level to a specific area on the map, then click APPLY.

What is a Migrated Event?
A migrated event has its seat map converted from the old (legacy) map into a new interactive map using our Reserved Seating tool.
These maps live in your account under Preferences → Seating Charts.
Once a Seats.io map is attached to an event, you manage holds, kills, and price levels through the Event Manager, not the old Seats tab.
Reverting Back to Legacy for Migrated Events
Go to Sales > Price Levels in the Event Manager.
Open the Map dropdown.
Select the correct map
Notes: This action restores the original seat layout. Be cautious if tickets have already sold, as changes may affect available inventory.
Please DO NOT update the seat map to another seats.io seat map in the dropdown; if a new seat map is needed, contact clients@prekindle.com to sync the correct chart.
