Size of a view from seat
In the Popover, the view from seat can have different sizes and ratios. For most use cases, uploading an image with a resolution of around 320x240 and file size of ~50kb would work for most cases.
If you intend the image to be used for full screen viewing on desktop, you might want to use sizes around 1280x720 and a file size of ~150kb for more detail.
Please notice that the file size between two images with the same dimensions might be different based on how bright they are, and other factors. Also consider that larger images will take longer to load even for the preview in the popover.
The view from seats
Once changes are saved or published, the interacting with the object will show its view from seat:
When the Popover is pinned in order to display a selection prompt, such as ticket type options, the view from seat will be interactive, which allows to go into fullscreen and even look around.
Look around works great with panoramic pictures!
Frequency of different views from seats
Based on how large your venue is, you might want to assign the same view from seat to multiple seats within the same radius. On a stadium, a good start could even be using a single VFS image for an entire section.
As long the feel for those seats is conveyed well by the same image, it might not be necessary to upload one for every seat.
However, for smaller venues, the difference between one seat and three to the side might be larger, so you might want to consider using a different view from seat more often within the same row.
And of course, you might want to upload separate VFS for seats with restricted view, where having a correct preview is more valuable than for other seats.
